yes this was rather helpfull, i just get really nervous when I am meeting new people!
We'll see! I have struggled with insecurity, mostly social insecurity, for years, and am trying various methods to change this aspect of myself. If this works very well, I'll come back and post my thanks.I have the same struugles.
yeah ive also suffered from insecurity a lot around new people but the way i used to deal with it or at least try, was to spark up a cigarette further starving myself of oxygen and furthering my insecurity. I tryed the deep breating practice and found out its very effective.I used to be a 3-pack a day person myself for the same reason. It's amazing how much deeper you can breathe and how much calmer a person can really be, when you give up the smokes. The whole idea of smoking to calm your nerves really is a myth.
im going to give this a go!!im just really nervous around people i don't know, i try to avoid confrontation but i need a new job and will obviosly have to go to an interview!!!ill be back if it works!!
